I can't believe how fast the time has gone. You are already almost 17 months old! You are absolutely loving life each day and growing like a weed! Every day you have so much fun, especially with your sister! Just tonight, while you guys were showering, you both were screaming and cackling together like nothing else. You laughed so hard you threw up a little bit, but that didn't deter you at all. You all just kept on and on, and you gave yourself the hiccups. It was a long day today but you did just great with it. Grace had a service project with the girl scouts and so the three of us went out to a field with a bunch of community members and picked up rocks. The field is going to be turned into soccer fields so there can't be rocks! You LOVED pushing the shovel around, and whenever the tractor would move, you would scream like the dickens. You absolutely LOVE tractors, trucks, and anything huge like that and just scream your head off if you see any of them. I love how excited you get. Here are the words you know, either saying them independently or hearing us say them.

There are probably more than that but I can't remember them all right now. You can just about run, which is pretty neat! You love to play chase with us, and whenever one of us says, "I'm gonna getcha" you take off doing your run and it's so funny! You love the tricycles and whenever you see it, you scream and point and take off for them. You love playing in the dirt, water, making mud, throwing rocks, and wandering. Big time wandering! You are such a boy, that's for sure. And when you don't get your way, by golly, EVERYONE knows it! It's funny because you spin around while you are standing up as you whine and scream and then throw yourself down on the ground in true "throwing a fit" form. But you get over it pretty quickly. You are a VERY good eater and will eat pretty much anything except bread. You aren't big on bread and crackers (but you like goldfish). You have this yucky habit of throwing your food on the floor when you are full. And your plate. And your drink...and anything else you can get ahold of. Not very good but we're working on the yucky habit. YOu were in a toddler bed but would always fall asleep at the door so we have you in the pack and play now and you sleep much better. You go to bed at 7:30 pm and about 99% of the time, you sleep through the night until anywhere between 6:30-7:30 am. You only take one nap and that is around 12 pm and goes anywhere between 1 pm wake up to 4:30 pm wakeup. You can go up and down the stairs backwards and are getting pretty good at going down the stairs facing forwards and holding on to something. There have been times that you think you can jump off a stair and that has never turned out good at all. You REALLY REALLY want to be able to jump! So bad. You are always and always trying but can't seem to get your toes off the ground. Hm....you love splashing in the gutter. Today the neighbor was watering his grass and you just went up and down the gutter, splashing and playing :) It was so cute, and I don't really care if you get messy so it didn't both mer any! Grace came out to visit you as well and so you guys splashed together.
All in all, you are an awesome kiddo. You are a joy to have around, you are learning something new every day, and WE LOVE YOU!!!!
